What to do before your BBL Treatment?

• Use an SPF 35 or higher and physical sun protection for one month before treatment.
• Avoid extended sun exposure, i.e., outdoor sports, traveling to hot climates, and beaches.
• Inform your VIV Wellness provider if you have used Accutane in the last six months.
• Inform your provider of any medical condition or medications that may make you sensitive to light, affect wound healing, or affect coagulation.

• You may experience slight redness in the treatment area, which should resolve within a few hours.
• Your pigmented spots may slightly darken, which will begin to fade and flake off during the treatment process.
• Follow your VIV Wellness provider’s after-care plan until the skin is completely healed. The process typically takes one week, but the skin on your body may take longer to heal than on your face.

• Avoid self-tanning products and direct extended sun exposure for four weeks before and after treatment.

• Avoid blood thinners like Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Fish oils, Vitamin E, etc.
• Use a physical broadband UVA & UVB and an SPF of 30 for one month before treatment.

What to do after your Moxi treatment?

• Due to the skin being warm after treatment, apply cold compress intervals or use a mineral water spray for dryness.
• Use gentle cleansers and avoid sun exposure to limit further stress on your skin.
• MENDs (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) will appear on the 2nd or 3rd day after treatment as tiny dark spots and bronzed appearance to the treated skin.
• Your skin will feel dry like sandpaper; it is crucial not to scrub or pick the area and to apply a moisturizer recommended by your VIV Wellness provider.
• Continue to use a physical broadband UVA & UVB and a SPF of 30. Don’t forget to reapply throughout the day!
